Marketing & Partnerships Manager

The Opportunity

This is more than a marketing role. It’s an opportunity to help build one of Canada’s most exciting women’s digital health companies.

Working directly with the CEO, founders, and experienced startup advisors, you’ll play a central role in commercializing a clinically validated digital therapeutic that has the potential to improve the lives of millions of women.

No two days will look the same. One morning you may be meeting with a menopause clinic to strengthen a partnership, and that afternoon reviewing marketing performance, improving our website, coordinating a conference, developing content, or implementing a new HubSpot workflow.

Because we’re an early-stage company, this role is intentionally broad. You’ll have the opportunity to shape your own responsibilities, contribute ideas, and take ownership of initiatives that have a direct impact on the company’s growth. As eSense grows, we expect this role to grow with it.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys solving problems, communicates exceptionally well, and is excited by the challenge of building something from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

Partnerships & Commercialization

  • Build and nurture relationships with clinics and referral partners.
  • Coordinate clinic onboarding and partnership initiatives.
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews to better understand user and clinic needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve referral pathways, customer acquisition, and conversion.
  • Support conferences, outreach activities, and business development initiatives.

Marketing & Growth

  • Own the coordination and execution of social media, content marketing, email campaigns, and website updates.
  • Develop compelling content and messaging across multiple channels while continuously testing and improving performance.
  • Help improve our SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and website performance.
  • Manage and optimize HubSpot CRM workflows and marketing automation.
  • Track campaign performance and recommend improvements based on data.
  • Collaborate with external advisors and contractors to execute growth initiatives.

Project & Operations Management

  • Coordinate multiple commercialization projects simultaneously.
  • Keep initiatives moving by managing timelines, priorities, and follow-up activities.
  • Help improve internal processes as the company grows.
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with commercialization priorities.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor key commercialization and marketing metrics.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that support decision-making.
  • Analyze user, clinic, and marketing performance data.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve growth.

Who You Are

We’re less interested in your exact degree than we are in your ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively, solve problems, and get things done.

You might be the right fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and approximately 2–5 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in a startup, small business, consulting, marketing, customer success, partnerships, operations, or business development role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot is a plus) and digital marketing tools.
  • Comfort working independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to figure things out.
  • A bias toward action and a willingness to role up your sleeves.

Experience in digital health, healthcare, women’s health, SaaS, or commercialization is an asset—but not essential.

We don’t expect you to know everything. We do expect you to be resourceful, adaptable, eager to learn, and excited to take ownership.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role isn’t measured by the number of social media posts you create or projects you coordinate—it’s measured by the impact you help make on the business.

Within your first year, you’ll become a trusted member of the eSense team, helping us build the commercialization engine that will drive our next stage of growth.

You’ll know you’re succeeding when:

  • Clinics see you as a trusted and responsive partner.
  • Our marketing is more consistent, purposeful, and data-driven.
  • Our CRM, marketing systems, and processes become more efficient and scalable.
  • You’re identifying opportunities for improvement—not waiting to be asked.
  • You bring ideas, challenge assumptions, and help us make better decisions.
  • You’re helping turn a clinically validated product into a successful and growing business.

Most importantly, you’ll help create the operational and commercial foundation that enables eSense to reach more women while growing into a scalable, impactful company.

Why Join eSense

This is a rare opportunity to join a company at a pivotal stage of growth.

You’ll have the chance to:

  • Work alongside world-renowned researchers, experienced entrepreneurs and advisors.
  • Learn from seasoned startup advisors and commercialization leaders.
  • Help bring an evidence-based healthcare innovation to women who need it.
  • Take on meaningful responsibility from day one.
  • Build relationships with healthcare providers and strategic partners.
  • Gain experience across commercialization, marketing, partnerships, fundraising, product development, and startup leadership.
  • Shape a role that will grow alongside the company.

If you’re looking for a narrowly defined corporate job, this probably isn’t it.

If you’re excited by variety, ownership, continuous learning, and the opportunity to help build a company from the inside, we’d love to hear from you.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience (range $75K – $90K).
  • Participation in eSense’s employee stock option plan following a successful probationary period.
  • Flexible and hybrid work environment.
  • Meaningful responsibility and direct access to company leadership.
  • The opportunity to help build a mission-driven company from an early stage.
  • Significant opportunities for professional growth as the company scales.
  • A chance to make a real impact in women’s health while helping build a company from the ground up.

We’re transforming women’s sexual health by making evidence-based care accessible. If that excites you, we’d love to hear from you.
